Sunfish Fleet #686 is an active fleet of
sailors who enjoy the wet and wild fun of the Sunfish. The fleet
conducts short around the buoys races just off the Pelican Point Yacht
Club facilities. If you are interested, look at the race schedule
for race dates. Each race day will include as many races as the
wind and weather permit. The schedule has been increased this year
to include 9 series race days and a Long Distance fun race.
Skippers meetings are at 11:00am on race day.
We also have a growing Junior Fleet who are learning how to sail and race through our Junior Program. The Junior Program training/practice days are also on the BYRA Racing Schedule. Juniors are ages 10-18 with no experience necessary. Read the Sunfish Sailing Instructions by clicking here.
All ages of sailors are represented in the Sunfish fleet. Come out and join in the fun. Boats can be made available for anyone who would like to try their hand at one of the most popular boats ever sailed.
